Dani Castonzo is a creative writer and storyteller who lives in Chicago. She writes prose, poetry, short stories and is currently working on her first novel, a young adult contemporary.

Her creative work has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize and the Best Small Fictions Anthology by Sonder Press. She is a regular performer in the live lit scene in Chicago. Past performances include Is This A Thing?, Serving the Sentence, and Do Not Submit. She graduated from Indiana University with a B.S. in Informatics and a B.A. in Journalism.
